아슬아슬한 경계를 넘나드는 고전의 재해석

올리비에 뒤부아는 새로운 해석을 통해 원작의 역사를 21세기를 살아가고 있는 관객의 눈앞으로 불러낸다. 무용수들은 소유와 부재 사이에서 격렬하게 투쟁하고, 작품의 현존을 위해 경계를 넘어선 재구성을 시도하며 원작을 비튼다. 또한 이들은 과거와 현재가 만나는 지표를 찾아내려 애쓰고, 시간과 기억에 대한 여러 의문들을 불러일으키며 이미 지나간 시간들을 가로지른다. 과연 이 새로운 작품을 어떻게 관객과 소통하며 동시에 어떤 방식으로 고전과 조우할 수 있을까?
