피치카토, 술 폰티첼로, 하모닉스, 약음 등, 바이올린의 여러 가지 음색들, 그리고 피아노의 페달과 음역의 변화에 의한 음색들로 무언가 흐릿하고 정체를 알 수 없는 기억들로 경과하는 시간을 채우고자 했다. 살바도르 달리의 대표적인 회화 “The persistence of Memory”에서 아이디어를 얻었다.
작품해설(영문)
The passage of time is filled with hazy, unclear memories portrayed by the various violin techniques of pizzicato, sul ponticello, harmonics, and mute as well as the pedaling and register change of the piano. This piece is inspired by painter Salvador Dali's The Persistence of Memory.
