This piece was composed as if creating a story. It divides into four sections, and each section develops around a main sound with different techniques of the saxophone fully utilized. The main sound for each section is matched with a theme centered on contemplation and the resolution of regrets and sorrow. It is mostly led by a tenor saxophone. This piece was originally composed as a saxophone solo and the piano part was added later to enrich its color.
This piece was composed as if creating a story. Four major scenes were selected and four sections, each of which responds to the scenes, were composed. Each section develops around a main sound with different techniques of the saxophone fully utilized. The main sound for each section is matched with a theme centered on contemplation and the resolution of regrets and sorrow. It is mostly led by a tenor saxophone. This piece was originally composed as a saxophone solo and the piano part was added later to enrich its color. However, the two instruments are closely interconnected in every phrase as if they form a single instrument. Pauses and breaths in each phrase are arranged in a segmental manner.
