플루트와 바이올린을 위한 "대화"

작품해설

Plato의 '대화'에서 착안한 곡이다. Sophist들과의 대화 또는 논쟁이 아니더라도 인간은 세상에 태어나서부터 죽을 때까지 대화 없이는 살 수 없으며 대화의 내용 또한 다양하다. 이 곡은 'D'음을 중심음으로 삼았으며 플루트와 바이올린은 서로 조화롭게 대화하다가 때로는 날카롭게 충돌하며 결국에 가서는 'D'음으로 합일되어 마치게 된다.
1974년에 작곡되어 서울음악제, 대한민국 실내악 작곡 제전, 동경, 독일 에센 등지에서 연주되었다.

작품해설(영문)

This work is inspired by the Platon Dialogue. Dialogues and arguments with sophists. Not to mention their dialogue men can't live without dialogues from their birth to death and the contents of the dialogues are all different.
D is the center tone of the piece. Flute and Violin play a dialogue harmoniously and sometimes conflict with each other. And at the end the music ends in D.
The work is written in 1974 and it has been performend in Seoul Tokyo and Essen Germany.
