작가가 갖는 자신의 고유한 형태의 의지는 자신의 예술작품에서 새로운 형상(GASTALTEN)을 만들어 주는 근거가 된다고 생각한다. 나는 이 작품에서 나 자신의 음악적 형태의 의지를 수1에서 수111사이에 드러나는 거의 모든 素數(Prime Number)와 결합시켜 내가 형상화 하고자 하는 음악을 만들었다. 또한 선택된 素數와 소재는 ‘종 또는 횡’, ‘동시 또는 비동시’로 결합해 새로운 음악형상들을 만들어 내고, 새로운 음악고안방법을 제시한다.
I believe that composer's own will is the foundation of making a work new in every creation. In the piece I regard my will of images as prime numbers from 1 to 111, and then I made my own musical images by combining several musical elements vertically or horizontally simultaneously or with different time frames. It demonstrates how the prime numbers are applied to the music and act as new persuasive musical language. Also many different forms of images from previous works, Gestalten I~VI, are quoted. I tried to lead my imagined musical devices by the prime numbers and my nostalgic feelings to the point of inter-communicational understanding.
