"Rendez-vous I" for Gayageum and Violoncello is the first of the "Encounter between Gayageum and Western Instruments" series initiated to seek new possibilities for the gayageum - Korea's representative string instrument. The composer delves into the similarities and differences between the gayageum and violoncello and strives to highlight the harmony and synergy of the two instruments.
