사람들은 세상을 살아오면서 다양한 경험을 하게 되는데, 불현 듯 머리를 스쳐가는 어릴 적 친구들과 해 지는 줄 모르고 동네 골목을 뛰어 다나며 놀던 기억들이 이 곡을 작곡하게 되는 계기가 되었다. “Amusement“ for Percussion Ensemble은 항상 마음속에 좋은 기억으로 남아 있는 옛 친구들과의 즐거운 놀이에 대한 추억을 타악기 앙상블을 통하여 표현해 보고자 하였다.
작품해설(영문)
This piece was inspired by my childhood memories - memories of playing with my friends in the back alleys of my old town, unaware of the time. "Amusement" for Percussion Ensemble portrays those precious, happy memories of childhood through a percussion ensemble.
