일과 사랑, 관계, 이런 것들은 가끔 우리 마음을 소용돌이치게 한다. 누구도 도울 수 없는 지금 현재 겪고 있는 기쁨과 슬픔을 보내며, 우리의 삶 속에서 그렇게 자연스럽게 흘러가는 과정이 ‘마음의 전쟁’이다. 소용돌이치는 감정들과 과거의 회상, 치유되는 과정들을 느낌이나 이미지를 담아 음악으로 표현하되 부분 부분에서 한국음악의 선율적인 요소, 장단, 국악기 연주기법 등을 적극적으로 활용하였다.
작품해설(영문)
Work, Love and relationships can stir our hearts time to time. One goes through emotions of joy and sadness that no one else can help and this process of flow that naturally occurs in our lives can be called 'battle of our hearts'. Swirling emotions and reminiscence of the past, the feeling or the images of healing process in lives are expressed through music and in different parts are expressed actively through melodious element and rhythm of traditional Korean music and the technique of the traditional Korean instruments.
