This work received its premiere at JeongHee Lee's Gayageum recital in 1977. More so than earlier pieces by this composer, such as "Sinbyeolgok" and "Myong", this piece features greater freedom and flexibility, and pursues a greater depth in the tone color unique to the Gayageum. It is a one movement work featuring various tempos 6/♩=60, 9/♪= 86, 6//♩=60.
A note in D which appears in tremolo will move horizontally with rhythmic change.
Then it undergoes harmonic change and become vertically more interesting, followed by chromatic progression, trills, glissando and staccato until it reaches the climax in part 2, folloewed by a retrograde in the final section.
