작품해설

애초에는 <허행초>라는 이름으로 1999년, 소프라노와 클래식 기타를 위하여 만들어졌다. 김영태 시인이 1999년 한국 무용가 최현을 기리며 쓴 <허행초>라는 시에 가락을 붙여 노래로 만들고 기타로 반주하게 하였는데, 2010년 성악을 해금으로 대체하여 해금과 클래식 기타의 기악곡 <비우고 가고…>로 개작하였다. 사이에 곡을 붙여서일까…? 다른 곡들에 비해 이 곡은 장면의 묘사가 부각되는 즐거움이 있다.

작품해설(영문)

It was orginally for soprano and classic guitar, with the name of in 1999, Tune was added to the poem, which Young-Tae Kim (poet) wrote in 1999 to honor Hyun Choi (Korean traditional dancer) and it was played to the accompariment of guitar. In 2010, the soprano was replaced with haegeum and it was remade into an instrumental music of haegeum and classic guitar with the title of . compared to other songs, this song well describes the scenes because the poem was set the song.
